1. Always keep the gun pointed in a save direction.

2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
-When holding a gun, rest your finger on the trigger guard on the side of the gun. Until ready to shoot.



3. Always keep gun unloaded until ready to shoot.
-When you pick up a gun,always put the safety on. Check to see if there is a magazine in the gun if so take it out and open the chamber to make shore there are no shells in the gun.

  • Treat every firearm as if it was loaded.
  • Never pass a firearm from one person to another unless checked to make shore it is unloaded, chamber is open, and safety is on.
  • Before using or operating a firearm make shore you know how it works
  • Never rely on any firearm device for safety.
  • Think before shooting.
  • Never play with a firearm like a toy.
  • Always be alert when shooting or around someone who is shooting a firearm.
  • Always keep firearms in a safe and out of reach area of children.
  • Receive instructions from someone who owns or has or has experience with a firearm if you have none.
